S.B. Pigments Pvt Ltd, took over Ultramarine Blue pigment manufacturing facility of M/S, Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd in August 2006.

Reckitt was pioneer in the manufacturing of Ultramarine Blue Pigment in India with its Plant commissioned in November 1956 . With this plant, in full operation ,SBP now is one of the major producer of Ultramarine blue Pigments in India with a wide product portfolio ranging from Laundry to high tinting strength Industrial Grade ultramarine Blue and specialized product eg, Violet Ultramarine and Water repellent Grades.

Training & Development Programme through in House as well as by External agencies and on the job training forms a major part of the activities for skill development and updating of knowledge for all employees across all levels. Total Quality Management, Statistical Quality Control tools formed a part of problem solving technique and process and quality control.

While the principal objective is to produce quality and quantity, the importance of Safety , Health and Environment are given no less importance.

The plant today has an Installed capacity of 6000 MT of Ultramarine Blue Annually comprised of both Laundry and Industrial Grades.
